Emily and Matt’s mini-wedding/elopement took place in September 2020 in Elizabeth Park. They had originally booked me for a much larger wedding, but due to Covid, their plans had to change quite a bit.
We started with some bride and groom portraits in the gardens. As I mentioned, it was midday and the sun was at its highest, most-direct angle, which isn’t ideal lighting. But you could say I’ve been doing this a while, and know how to use the light 🙂
After that, we moved to some shaded spots in and behind the woods to give us some softer lighting. I love how the woods photo turned out!
And finally, we held their small, intimate ceremony in front of the gazebo.
